Day 271

Too much of a good thing can be wonderful. Mae West (1892-1980) She also said,
Is that a gun in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?

Daily Guidance:

The New Moon has arrived and it's time to carry the Law of Love to the West side of the Wheel. This is the place where the senses, intuition, feminine energies, healing, the body and the physicality of Life on Earth are represented, among other things. This is the week to ponder the physical embodiments of Love.

Cynthia's Journal: (Extract)

As I move to the West side of the Wheel today I'm thinking about the many expressions of Feminine energy we see in various female archteypes. The nurse, the schoolteacher and the serving girl... Men appear to prefer the nurturing, healing, supporting types of women in public, but which kind do they Love the most in private? The heroic (and sexless) Joan of Arc? The nun who is Mother Superior? Or the witty and bawdy Mae West? Maybe it’s her name, but for me she represents what society has repressed, from the West side of the Wheel.
