What is the opposite of Awareness? Denial? Indifference? Ignorance?
How would you measure Awareness in yourself and others?
Does Awareness matter more, or less than last month’s Law of Balance?
Is there too much Awareness in the world, or not enough?
You have a whole month to study this Law and ponder these questions. Paradoxically, the more you learn, about Awareness and the other Laws, the more you realize there is to know. Studying the Wheel isn’t like other things. You don’t end up with a ‘been there, done that’ result. We’re never done learning about life or the Laws that govern it. Most graduates from the three year Wisdom Wheel course go back to the Law of Balance and start studying them all over again.
There’s a saying that every increase in Awareness brings an increase in sorrow. Until we can keep our emotions in neutral, we can hardly bear to know what goes on, so we choose not to look too hard. One of Malcolm’s most oft repeated phrases is, ‘If people only knew…’
Why don’t we know more? You’ll have a list of reasons by the end of the month if you’re reading your emails, following the Daily Guidance and doing your ‘homework.’
Your Awareness will definitely increase during the next four weeks, so take good care of yourself. Get some extra sleep. Allow your unconscious and subconscious mind time to dream and do the processing of all the additional things you’ll become more aware of.
As with every other Law, you will have time to consider Awareness from all four sides of the Wheel as you go round it, visiting the East, South, West & Northern quadrants. By now you are aware of some of the benefits this well-structured approach has. You can use this method to enlarge your understanding, and increase your Awareness, of anything. The Wheel is a superb focusing agent. You know how it works after using it for three months, so play with it, the way you’d experiment with binoculars, a microscope or a telescope.
There are layers of Awareness and each level affects every other one. You’ll be absorbing insights about mental, emotional, physical and spiritual Awareness in yourself and other people. These contribute to the quality of your daily life. Spiritual Awareness pertains to your level of consciousness, which is always evolving. I hope you are enjoying the Journey. Let us know how you’re doing. Write in the blog. Best wishes.
